An accurate basis for project decisions
Quantity surveying is a structured process of measurement, consolidation and allocation of work to the relevant BOQ items. The quality of the takeoff affects tender pricing, execution planning, payment applications and the ability to identify differences between contract quantities and executed work.
The office is based in Eilat and provides services for projects in Eilat and throughout Israel, remotely and with project meetings or site visits when required and agreed.
Tender Quantity Takeoff
At tender stage, the drawings, specifications and BOQ are reviewed to understand the scope and support pricing. The takeoff may identify missing items, discrepancies or quantities requiring further review.
- Basis for tender pricing
- BOQ completeness review
- Identify discrepancies between tender documents
- Consolidate questions and clarifications
Execution Quantity Takeoff
Once construction begins, quantities can be taken from construction drawings and tracking can be updated for approved changes. This gives the project team a clear view of what was designed, what changed and what remains to be executed.
- Construction drawings
- Design revisions
- Tracking by area or stage
- Comparison with contract quantities
Takeoff for Payment Applications
Measurement of executed work and allocation to BOQ items for an interim, cumulative or final account. Calculations are presented so the source and measurement method can be reviewed.
- Executed-work measurements
- Allocation to contract items
- Cumulative quantities
- Supporting records and calculations
BOQ-to-Execution Variance Review
Comparing contract quantities, current design and actual execution supports early identification of overruns, omissions or scope changes and preparation of the required records.
When is outsourcing appropriate?
When specialist capacity is required for a defined period, the project needs independent quantity control, or a full-time quantity surveyor is not justified. The service is adapted to the document volume and agreed schedule.
